Tenak Talk Episode #52

‘THE BRIDE OF CHRIST’ Episode 52 Q&A with Rabbi Tovia Singer

Biblical marriage permitted men to have more than one wife. It was not permitted for a woman to have more than one husband.

In regards to “the Bride of Christ” of the new testament, I can see, according to TaNaKh, how G-d is a Husband to Israel(not condoning new testament theology of course) and if the marital Laws are the same, the bride is not ONLY “not” allowed to have multiple Husbands(G-d AND Jesus) and they would CERTAINLY not be allowed to marry a Father AND His son.
