    Regarding the sparing of Nineveh:

As you know, the city of Nineveh was spared destruction due to sincere repentance. When something like this happens (or more accurately doesn’t happen), somebody will inevitably say that the danger never existed in the first place.

What sign did G-d give to show that the danger was, indeed, real and that they were spared due to their T’shuva?

The most important reason that Jews do not accept the Christian Messiah.

The list of reasons is very long.

However, I believe that the most important reason, and the reason that refutes ALL versions of Christianity is simply that we are not living in the messianic age! We clearly do not live in the messianic age. The notion of a “second coming” is a complete “cop out” since anybody (absolutely anybody) can make such a claim!
