Rabbi Tovia Singer’s Seminar on Indonesian National TV

On March 9th, 2016, the Indonesian Jewish foundation, Yayasan Eits Chaim Indonesia, organized a seminar where Rabbi Tovia Singer of Outreach Judaism was the main speaker. The meeting room at Hotel Pullman, West Jakarta was filled with people from different religious backgrounds, who came to listen to the Torah teachings of an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. Among the audience were prominent Indonesian Muslim leaders, including Drs. M. Zawawi Suat, S.H., the General Secretary of “Ikatan Mubaligh Seluruh Indonesia”, a national Muslim organization of Islamic Emissary. This marks an amazing beginning of  of the friendship between the Muslim Majority and the Jewish micro-minority of Indonesia. This event was picked up and covered by the Indonesian national TV channel, TVRI.
